About this Session

Step beneath the streets of Brno and discover one of the city’s most remarkable historical landmarks – the Underground Water Reservoirs at Žlutý kopec. Originally built to supply the city with drinking water, these impressive underground chambers are today considered one of Brno’s most unique engineering and architectural attractions.

During the guided tour, participants will learn about the history of Brno’s water management system, the construction of the reservoirs, and their importance for the city’s development. The vast underground halls create a unique atmosphere and offer a fascinating glimpse into the city’s hidden infrastructure.

Please note that temperatures inside the reservoirs remain cool throughout the year, so bringing a light jacket is recommended.
