The International Evening is your opportunity to share your culture or your university’s traditions with others in a relaxed and social setting. There will be dedicated stands where you can present your background through food, drinks, stories, music, or small items. If you would like to represent a country different from the one where you study, this is possible, but please inform us in advance so we can prepare an appropriate space for you.
We encourage you to bring typical snacks or beverages from your home country to share. Please keep in mind that there will be no refrigeration available at the venue or throughout your travels, so avoid fresh food or anything that requires cooling. Packaged or non-perishable items are strongly recommended. If possible, be ready to inform others about ingredients and potential allergens in your food.
Each group will have a designated space for their stand. We recommend coordinating in advance with your colleagues from the same country or university to decide who brings what, to ensure a diverse and balanced presentation. This coordination will take place through WhatsApp groups, managed by your university coordinator. Basic equipment such as plates, cups, cutlery, paper towels, and trash bags will be provided by the organizers.
Alongside the main program, there will be a beer pong activity available as an optional social game. Participation is entirely voluntary, and we encourage everyone to approach it in a responsible and respectful manner, in line with the overall atmosphere of the conference.
Alcohol will not be provided by the organizers and is not allowed on the school grounds. We aim to create an open, welcoming, and engaging environment where participants can learn from each other and enjoy the diversity of cultures represented.
