Infovaders: A Game to test your literacy skills in the age of AI and information overload

About this Session

Earth as you know it is no more. On an uninhabited planet in the solar system, you must establish a new information landscape. What values do you consider important? And can you make wise decisions in an era of information overload and artificial intelligence, when truth increasingly blurs with fiction? What will academia look like? In various dilemmas, you will confront themes such as Open Access, Open Science, and the selection and evaluation of relevant sources, all set within a science fiction context!
This workshop is structured as a board game organized in teams, challenging players to critically think and discuss their vision for the future of information. Have you ever considered how information is discovered, searched, evaluated, and published, and how it impacts society and academic research?
