Gergely Rakoczi is the head of the “Digital Teaching and Learning” service unit at the Technical University of Vienna (TU Wien). He has a background in media informatics and informatics management. He is working as an e-learning specialist at TU Wien for almost two decades. His main interests include Moodle, e-learning, course creation and design, and web-based training modules for higher education and the private sector. He is particularly interested in Moodle development, digital tools that enhance learning, Moodle user interface design, multimedia learning, eye movement analysis, and the use of virtual reality and 360-degree content in education.
Dr. Nikolaos Mitrou has been a Full Professor — now Professor Emeritus — at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens since 2000. His teaching and research interests lie in the fields of Telecommunications, Computer Networks, and Informatics. He coordinates the KALLIPOS project for the creation of open-access digital academic textbooks (https://kallipos.gr). Since 2024, he has been contributing to the EULiST alliance project (https://eulist.university) as coordinator of the “Catalogue of Courses & Learning Opportunities” development team.
