This 90-minute workshop immerses students in a high energy role play simulation of energy transition. Each team’s highlights how their actions and the event intertwined and shows the negotiated compromises. Through guided rounds of planning and negotiation, students experience the challenges of balancing climate goals, public needs, and economic interests in energy system. Together we will:
- Understand key sustainability concepts in energy systems.
- Think critically about real-world challenges.
- Create solutions through teamwork and creativity.
- Understand stakeholder roles.
Participant specifications
- Students from all levels and study backgrounds are welcome to participate in the workshop.
- Must have an interest in environment, sustainability, engineering, or science.
- No prior technical knowledge required, just curiosity and enthusiasm.
